By-Law Enforcement and Policing

CCN has 4 Peace officers on duty. Working closely with the local RCMP, they are dedicated to enforcing CCN, provincial and federal laws. Our constables are designated Peace Officers under the Canadian Criminal Code. They are able to issue fines and penalties as well as detain and arrest when necessary.

The mandate of the Peace Officers is to contribute to making CCN a safe and healthy place to live and work. In addition to their policing duties, they are actively involved in all areas of the community, attending functions and events and interacting with the youth.
