Housing
The housing department is committed to assisting community members with organizing paperwork needed to be approved for repairs and renovations to your home. The housing department is also responsible for assisting members in filling out all forms necessary to apply for housing.
All non-emergent repairs and renovations must be approved by Chief and council prior to being done. The Housing Department has a monthly budget, Chief and Council approve repairs and renovations for each month so the department stays within it’s budget. If you wish to apply for a housing repair or renovation visit the housing department today where our staff can assist you with all paperwork necessary.
All emergent repairs are approved by the housing coordinator based on a specific list of repairs identified as emergent by Chief and Council. The following are examples of emergent repairs:
- A burst indoor pipe
- Frozen pipes in winter
- A sewage backup
- A large ceiling leak
- Furnace won’t turn on in winter
- Furnace blowing cold air in winter
- Exterior door lock broken
